There is no real privacy at this site.

We are always able to identify you by access time and your IP address if required. Please read the Hackers clause!

Nevertheless we will use this information only to be able to identify you if you've added information with criminal background.

Another point is our Webservers statistics. Anybody running a WebSite (especially commercial WebSite) have such statistics. Our statistic tool is simple but useable. At the URI where we publish these statistics you will find IP addresses and probably your's. Our BBS will log IP addresses of all writers as well.

It is difficult to identify you by such an address. Some people uses a WLAN of their neighbor others came from inside a Companies LAN. It is really difficult to identify these persons because they use NAT so our server is not able to log the IP address of their computer but of their dial in system.

Real IT experts know a technique called IP address spoofing. They can fake IP addresses and that's really a huge problem nobody knows.

In case of a criminal act our logs help to support the police to identify you via the logs of your ISP or your Company.

What's not a criminal act:

  • accidents, typos, bad english

Please remember:

This WebSite is dedicated to technical terms. If you publish information than please do this in an academic way. This means that you can quote parts (some sentences) of books or publications but you have to add name of the author, name of the source where you found the quote etc.!

Be as correct as possible with that.
