This site is dedicated to the Oracle RDBMS. This includes network, storage, server technology, programming, applications like Oracle Financials, SAP and programming in C/C++ (Oracle ProC), JAVA, PHP and last but not least Perl.
One purpose of this Wiki is to build a site where you can find relations between topics. For example our Internals site will give you a lot of informations you could use to setup your own WebSite. At wikipedia you find a lot of informations not grouped in a way you can get a fast benefit from. This is what wikipedia offers. We group the technical terms desribed at wikipedia in a way an interested user can use to get a red line through a lot of Computer related topics.
It is strictly forbidden to publish advertising at OraForecast.com
We also offer download of OraWiki's database. This gives all users and especially those writing articles (editors) a chance to safe their work.
Our servers hardware is safe. Have a look at our Internals to get more details. It's redundant. We are using RAID, three different copies of databases at three different computers, DAT drive to save your work and so on.
One reason to implement this site is to safe knowledge and work for the future and give the public a chance to use a broad and increasing community of Oracle database experts a free plattform for information exchange.
